Financial Analyst - Business Valuation

Our Client, an important company located in Montreal, is seeking a Financial Analyst - Business Valuation for a 12 month contract with a very strong possibility of permanence.

Job Title : Financial Analyst - Business Valuation

Location : Montreal (Hybrid)

Salary : Up to 95K

Duration : Temporary to Permanent.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Directors of Advisory Services, the incumbent of the position will :

• Participate in the preparation and revision of business valuation mandates and
• financial modelling;
• Analyze financial data, review documents, conduct research in-depth to identify and report on key issues;
• Take part in the production and revision of deliverables, including service offerings,
• reports and other documents, as expected and required by clients;
• Assist when required in mergers and acquisitions mandates as well as mandates of
• financing;
• Supervise interns, analysts and senior analysts of the team
• Collaborate in the development of tools for the department;
• Exercise effective risk management in all mandates;
• Ensure the maintenance of quality control standards throughout mandates;
• Performs other related duties.

Qualifications

• Hold a university degree in accounting or finance;
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting combined with experience in business valuation
• CPA or CPA in progress, a major asset
• Hold or be in the process of obtaining CBV / EEE, a major asset
• Advanced Excel (VLookup, PVT)
• Francophone environment
