Safety & Compliance Manager

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Lead accident and incident investigations, identifying lessons learned and preventive actions
• Develop and manage safety programs to reduce personal injuries and vehicle accidents
• Conduct periodic safety and compliance audits for branches and customer sites
• Provide training programs to enhance safety practices and promote safety consciousness

What is Required (Qualifications)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five years of safety experience in an industrial or distribution setting
• Thorough knowledge of DOT and OSHA rules and regulations
• Familiarity with Canadian HSEQ and Transport Canada rules and regulations
• Proficient in Google Suite

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
• Previous experience with welding-related products
• CSP/CRSP or related safety certifications
