🌸 Part-Time Nanny Needed in Ramsay (Calgary)

Hi everyone! 👋

Our family in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a responsible and caring nanny to provide part-time, live-out care for our two primary school–aged children — our 7-year-old son (Grade 2) and 6-year-old daughter (Grade 1).

We’re hoping to find someone warm, patient, and dependable who can bring calm and fun energy to our afternoons. Our goal is to keep a consistent routine and provide a supportive environment for our kids.

We live in a beautiful, walkable Ramsay neighborhood with parks, playgrounds, and lots of nearby activities. 🌿

No vehicle is required for school pick-ups — the school is just seven houses down and across the street.

If you need transportation to get to our home, the #17 bus stops on our block, and Erlton Station is about a 10–15 minute walk.

We do have one cat and a few fish, and plan to add a puppy after our renovation is complete (about one year from now).

🕓 Schedule

• Monday–Thursday : 3 : 00 PM – 5 : 30 PM (School dismissal at 3 : 09 PM)
• Fridays : 12 : 30 PM – 5 : 30 PM (Friday dismissal at 12 : 37 PM)
• Typically one full PD day per month (8 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM)
• Potential coverage for Fall & Spring Breaks
• Start date is flexible, but we’d love someone to start soon.

👶 About the Role

My Husband and I both work full-time professional jobs. You’d help with school pick-ups, snacks, playtime, and after-school routines until we are done our workday. Typically one of us is home by 5 : 30.

After school, our son prefers quiet alone time, while our daughter enjoys more interaction such as crafting or coloring. We’re not opposed to screen time — some days it may simply mean being the calm, responsible adult in the house.
