Expression of Interest : Quality Service Analyst - Float Role

Status / Term : Permanent, Full-time (70 hours bi-weekly)

Classification / Salary : Social Program Officer (Growth to R24) / $71,771 to $86,071 annually (plus an additional temporary market adjustment for Facilitators at Full Working Level)

Location : Prince George or Kamloops (Hybrid)

About the Opportunity :

CLBC is excited to launch a new pilot project introducing regional float Quality Service Analyst and Facilitator positions. These roles are designed to provide responsive, short-term coverage during staffing vacancies or workload pressures, helping teams maintain quality and ensuring service providers, individuals, and families receive the support they need without delay. By reducing reliance on auxiliary staff, these positions will support a more sustainable and flexible approach to service delivery.

Each float Quality Service Analyst will be based in a designated office within their assigned region and must be prepared to travel frequently within the region, with occasional travel to other regions as needed. Assignments are generally short-term, lasting no longer than three months, and will be coordinated by the region's Service Area Managers.

Float Analysts report administratively to the Regional Director and functionally to the Service Delivery Manager of the team they are supporting. In this role, they will work closely with Directors and other members of the regional leadership team to ensure responsive and consistent service delivery.

This hybrid role follows the same in-office expectations as other Analyst positions.

What You'll Be Doing :

In this dynamic and impactful role, you'll support teams across your region by stepping in where needed to ensure service consistency and maintain strong relationships with service providers and internal partners.

• Provide flexible, short-term coverage for Analyst vacancies and workload pressures within your region
• Travel frequently to support communities through in-person contract management, service quality monitoring, and problem-solving
• Be available to support other regions when needed
• Review individual support plans, develop service contracts, and assess resource needs in alignment with CLBC policy and funding guidelines
• Monitor and evaluate service delivery, proactively identifying and resolving issues to support continuity of care
• Collaborate closely with Facilitators and SDMs to respond to urgent needs and assist individuals and families in times of transition or crisis
• Quickly integrate into different teams, contributing to informed decision-making and clear communication across stakeholders
• Strengthen CLBC's ability to deliver timely, accountable services while easing pressure on permanent staff and reducing service gaps
