Position Overview :
The Product Definition group is responsible for defining future connected features and enablers, focusing on electric and autonomous vehicles. We are looking for a Connected Services Systems Engineer – Intermediate with experience in connected vehicle technologies and a passion for improving customer experiences. The ideal candidate is a systems-thinker who thrives in innovative environments, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and works well in collaborative teams. The role involves working with product owners and stakeholders to define scalable and flexible connectivity solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform feasibility analyses and impact assessments on new and existing features.
- Define API and data requirements to ensure long-term flexibility and scalability.
- Provide connectivity requirements for next-generation vehicle ECUs and architectures.
- Identify design requirements to support future feature flexibility.
- Act as Product Owner for key connected services enablers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop user stories and requirements.
- Evaluate off-the-shelf products to meet business needs.
- Create documentation, including requirements specifications and statements of work.
- Lead issue resolution for systems in operation.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in architecture, software, or systems engineering.Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles.Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (designers, developers, integrators).Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.Ability to stay current on connectivity solutions and technologies.Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or related field.Experience with service-oriented architectures, EVs, or autonomous vehicles.Software development experience in C++, Java, or Python.Familiarity with IoT, Edge Computing, and embedded systems.Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases and Atlassian Jira.Experience creating architectural artifacts and writing specifications.Additional Information :
Required to drive and validate features on Stellantis test vehicles.Mostly remote (85%-90%), with travel across the border twice a month.Must be local to Windsor to access the ARDC facility and attend team meetings / training at CTC.
