Education
- Industrial Millwright – 433A
- Fluid power background an asset
- 5 years+ experience in a mechanical maintenance role in an industrial environment
- Experience leading / directing trade team members
- Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Tool shop equipment experience
- Must have experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment
- Able to use precision equipment (dial calipers)
- Must carry the skills of welding, milling, drilling, grinding and plumbing
- Ability to read and interpret drawings are a must
- Electrical experience is an asset
- Computer literate (MS Office, CMMS)
Duties / Responsibilities
Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment within the plantPerform minor electrical repairs and assist the Electricians as neededEnsure mechanical equipment within the plant is regularly serviced and operating at maximum safe production levelsOperate necessary equipment / tools to perform repairsPerform Mechanical PM activities as outlined on all equipment to ensure optimal operation and safetyTrack completed work through a CMMS (labour hours, parts, repair comments, etc.)Work closely with plant personnel on troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives
