Job Title : CAD CAM Programmer (Temporary)

Location : St. Thomas

Duration : 3 months

Report to President

We are seeking an experienced CAD CAM Programmer to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating various manufacturing equipment, with a primary focus on Laser programming. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

  • Laser Programming (Top Priority) : Program and operate Laser machines for cutting and engraving, utilizing CAD CAM software to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Press Brake Programming : Program and operate Press Brake machines to bend and form metal parts, utilizing CAD CAM software to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • CNC Machining : Program CNC machines using CAD CAM software, designing and developing programs for CNC machining as needed.
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure efficient and accurate production
  • Troubleshoot programming issues and resolve problems
  • Maintain accurate records of programming and production

    • Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field of engineering
  • 3-5 years of experience in CAD CAM programming
  • Experience with Laser machines, Press Brake machines, and CNC machining
  • Proficient in Fusion 360, Autocad, Solidworks, and Bisoft CAD software
  • Experience with Apicore ERP system is a Must have.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
