Security Guard - Mobile Driver, Shipping Terminals

Concord Security is looking for part-time and casual Mobile Security Officers to join our high profile Ports security site located in the heart of Nanaimo (Duke Point) for various shifts throughout the week. This position requires strong communication, social perceptiveness, and interpersonal skills, and excellent deportment.

Pay Rate : $23.29 / hour

Please note that all employees for this job site must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Transportation Security Clearance

In this role, you will patrol the facility, ensure only authorized personnel access secure areas, address any hazards, write detailed incident reports, and more.

YOU’RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU :

• Have prior experience and a valid BC Security License
• Have strong English communication, both written and verbal
• Are eligible to work in Canada
• Are comfortable going through additional background checks to work in federally cleared job sites
• Have a valid BC Drivers License and clean Drivers Abstract
• Have strong problem solving and decision-making skills
• Enjoy being active, including patrolling on foot outdoors, standing for extended periods, and getting in and out of a Paladin vehicle regularly
