The bare minimum must haves would be strong technical background, server admin experience, SQL knowledge and experience with debugging issues. Rest everything I would say, can be learnt through on-the-job experience and training.

• System Administration : Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Tableau Server across various environments.
• Troubleshooting and Support : Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and manage user expectations effectively.
• Access Management : Manage users, groups, and their permissions, and integrate with Active Directory.
• Incident Management : Handle incidents related to Tableau, manage user expectations, work with vendor to resolve issues promptly, and coordinate with teams to ensure minimal impact and timely resolution.
• Performance Monitoring : Monitor server performance, ensure efficient use of server resources, and use / create administrative dashboards for usage analysis.
• Nice to Have : Python development skills for automating repetitive operational processes and driving continuous improvement.
