Job Description
Reporting to management, the Fusion Technician is responsible for the fabrication and field installation of customer HDPE purchases in addition to warehouse duties. The Fusion Technician must be service-oriented, have a high level of attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to safety.

- Know how to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Be courteous, friendly and build relationships with customers and vendors
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Fabricate custom HDPE orders to required specificationsInstallation of pipe, fittings, and fabrications on-siteMaintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safetyReceive, count, and verify incoming shipmentsPick materials for orders, assemble, and package the materials for shipmentLoad / unload trucks and operate fusion equipment and forklift safelyMaintain / repair HDPE pipe fusion equipmentPerform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre ManagerMust be able to travel for extended periods of timeMust be local to Edmonton areaQualifications
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and / or University degree an assetPossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrityAbility to develop comprehensive product and product application knowledgeExcellent customer service skillsMechanical inclinationExcellent organizational skills with an attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammatesEnergetic, self-motivated, and able to work independentlyPossess a valid driver’s licensePreferred Skills
Previous experience with or knowledge or operation of McElroy fusion machines.Additional Information
