About the Role
We are assisting a fast-growing technology client in hiring a senior, hands-on Software Team Lead to help build and scale a B2B SaaS platform focused on risk modeling. This role combines technical leadership, people mentorship, and direct software development in a company making a tangible environmental impact.
You will lead a small, highly skilled development team while remaining actively involved in building production-ready software. Working closely with product leaders, scientists, and company leadership, you’ll help shape the technical direction as the company grows from early-stage to a more mature platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of software developers
- Stay hands-on with design, development, testing, and deployment
- Drive delivery of backend and data-layer features as the platform scales
- Partner with product and leadership to set priorities and technical direction
- Balance rapid prototyping with long-term codebase maturity and automation
- Ensure product quality and support customer outcomes in the absence of a dedicated QA team
