Job description

Role : EMS Lead / Support Specialist.

Location : Brampton, ON (Onsite).

Duration : 12+ Months.

Job Description :

  • Execute non-production and production system upgrades, patches, and integrations for Client' EMS platforms.
  • Collaborate with Client' application patching team to define test plans, UAT support, and deployment workflows.
  • Develop technical documentation (architecture diagrams, runbooks) and conduct post-deployment reviews.
  • Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure VM / cluster availability.
  • Conduct security audits for EMS infrastructure (VMs, networking, batch pipelines) and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with Client' internal policies and standards.
  • Implement proactive monitoring for security breaches and lead incident response activities.
  • Review NMS Tools patches for security relevance and integrate them into upgrade cycles.
  • Analyze EMS performance metrics and recommend tuning for scalability / reliability (e.g., Nokia Service Portal, Fujitsu Virtuora).
  • Automate monitoring, reporting, and failure-handling processes to reduce manual intervention.
  • Design continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., reducing MTTR, enhancing data quality).
  • Collaborate with Client' teams to implement best practices for EMS usability and operational efficient.

Skills :

  • Expertise in EMS platforms and network management domain (Nokia AMS / NFM-T / Altipiano, Ciena MCP, Ribbon Muse, Fjitsu).
  • Hands-on experience with one or more EMS applications (Nokia AMS / NFM-T / Altipiano, Ciena MCP, Ribbon Muse, Fjitsu).
  • Proven experience upgrading, patching of EMS Applications.
  • Understanding of the EMS integration points, functions and features.
  • Strong understanding of the EMS deployment environments and platforms and virtualization technologies (e.g.; VMware, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong understanding of the EMS build and deployment methodologies such as DevOps , scripting (Python / Ansible).
  • Strong understanding of security requirements and vulnerability assessment.
  • Strong understand in automation tools.
