We are in search of a skilled and dedicated individual to contribute to providing nourishing meals and a comfortable dining experience for our residents. As a Cook, you'll play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of food quality, safety, and nutrition.

Location : Barrie, Ontario
Pay Rate : $25 per hour
Timings : 9 : 45 AM to 5 : 45 PM

Roles and Responsibilities :

Prepare and cook balanced and appetizing meals for our residents, taking into consideration dietary requirements and preferences.

Ensure timely and efficient meal service, adhering to established schedules.

Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, following hygiene and safety protocols.

Collaborate with dietary and kitchen staff to manage inventory and order supplies as needed.

Participate in menu planning and contribute ideas for diverse meal options.

Adapt to varying dietary needs and restrictions of residents.

Requirements :

Previous experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen setting.

Must have a Food Handler Certificate.

Compassionate nature and a genuine interest in providing quality meals to seniors.

Knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and meal planning.

Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively.

Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
