The successful candidate willlead and manage complex transportation infrastructure projectsincluding roads highways bridges and transit systems from planningand design through to implementation andcompletion.
Requirements
KeyResponsibilities :
- Leadand oversee the development of transportation engineering projectsfrom conceptual design to detailed design andconstruction.
- Conductand supervise feasibility studies impact assessments and trafficanalysis.
- Prepareand review engineering drawings specifications and costestimates.
- Collaboratewith clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to ensureproject objectives aremet.
- Providetechnical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers andtechnicalstaff.
- Ensurecompliance with local provincial and federal regulations andstandards.
- Leadpublic consultations and stakeholder engagementprocesses.
- Prepareand review reports presentations and documentation for clients andregulatoryagencies.
- Monitorproject progress manage budgets and make necessary adjustments toensure successful projectdelivery.
- Supportbusiness development activities including proposal preparation andclient relationshipmanagement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelorsdegree in Civil Engineering or a relatedfield.
- ProfessionalEngineer (P.Eng) designation inAlberta.
- 7years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus onroad and highwaydesign.
- Proficiencyin engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and trafficanalysis tools (e.g. SYNCHROVISSIM).
- Strongunderstanding of transportation planning principles trafficengineering and geometric designstandards.
- Provenability to lead and work collaboratively within ateam.
