Job Description
The Department of Chemical Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Université Laval is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will be required to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, contribute fairly to departmental or institutional committee administrative activities, supervise graduate students, and undertake a vigorous research program in the field of biochemical engineering with expertise in the production of biopharmaceutical products in at least one of the following targeted areas : expression system design (improvement of microbial strains and animal cells through genetic engineering), intensified processes for the production of biological products through cell or fermentation culture (e.g., recombinant proteins, antibodies, vaccines, plasmids); bioproduct purification processes; technologies for the analysis and control of bioprocesses and bioproduct quality (PAT).
