About the role :
Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Human Resources Manager will be a key contributor to the ongoing evolution of Chartright through the delivery of people and culture solutions to drive achievement of business objectives.
Working alongside our skilled Human Resources team, you will manage all people-related requirements for two key functions of our business, our Maintenance team and our Fixed Base Operations. You are a strategic, hands-on HR Business Partner with extensive generalist experience, a people and culture-focused mindset who excels in building strong relationships and collaborating to support scaling teams and enable organizational growth.
What you’ll do :
Act as the main HR point of contact for your client groups, providing guidance and sharing expertise with leaders on a range of areas including organization design, talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, complex HR issues, HR and L&D program deployment, workforce planning, change management, and employee rewardsContribute to the company-wide People Strategy and partner with Senior Leaders to develop and implement functional HR strategies and plans, providing guidance and coaching to develop, engage and leverage their teamsSupport the evolution of the HR function and the company cultureDrive talent efforts by managing full cycle recruitment for clients’ roles while supporting talent development and movementDetermine people related solutions considering market best practices, and strategic and organizational context while being aligned with employment laws, industry regulations and organizational valuesLead, develop, and deploy organizational wide and function specific strategic projectsLeverage HR data to identify opportunities for improvement and to solve complex challenges, identify trends, and recommend effective HR strategies and solutionsCollaborate with leaders to ensure compliance with policies and employment legislationContribute to HR and operational process improvementsWhat you bring :
Degree in Business, HR Management, or relevant discipline with at least 6 years’ progressive experience in HR including 4 years as an HR Business Partner supporting operations functions; HR Professional Certification requiredExperience in a range of areas including talent acquisition, talent movement, performance management, employee relations, HR administration, project management, change management with experience in total rewards an assetHighly effective communication skills including listening, verbal, written, presentationStrong customer orientation combined with relationship building skills and solution orientationExceptional tact, professionalism and discretion to deal with confidential information and challenging mattersExtensive knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices with ability to practically applyDemonstrated experience using and leveraging data for business insights and applicationExceptional collaboration, advising and influencing skillsSolid critical thinking and problem-solving skills with solid judgmentExperience in project / program development and deliveryProactivity, a sense of urgency and results-orientationA positive mindset with a flexible and resilient approach, able to work with ambiguityAbility to effect sustainable improvements to processes and practicesProficiency with HR systems including HRIS and Microsoft OfficeCommitment to our core values of safety, customer-focus, respect and accountabilityTeam supervision / management experience strongly preferredA hybrid work environment requiring minimum 3 days / week at our locations.
