Human Resources Business Partner - Consultant

Our client, a reputable general contractor in the Niagara Region, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead the delivery of retail and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate is a strong on‑site leader with a track record of completing projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily site operations for retail and commercial construction projects from start to completion.
• Lead and coordinate site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies and promote a safe work culture.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure work is completed per design intent.
• Coordinate inspections, resolve on‑site issues, and maintain communication with the project manager and client.
• Track site progress, prepare daily logs, and report updates on schedule, cost, and quality.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, and sequencing to maximize productivity.
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to building codes and company standards.
