Responsibilities
In this sr accounting technician role, you would :
Prepare and submit the tax reporting and payments
Review, and prepare monthly clients and corporate reports (Profit and Loss, Balance sheet, trial balance etc.)
Review all AR and AP accounts and transactions
Prepare ad-hoc clients and corporate reports
Prepare the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and ensure bank and credit card reconciliations are done correctly and on time
Provide general accounting support and training
Assist with internal and external audits
Support with budget preparation
Qualifications
This Sr accounting technician role requiresL
Strong computer skills, Excel in particular (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles (3 years of experience), as well as the taxation system of the province, laws and regulations
Being attentive to details and accurate
Excellent analytical and the ability to analyze large amounts of data
Self-starter with high degree of initiative
A team-oriented approach to meeting goals
Bilinguism : Fluent French and Intermediate English
