Personal Suitability Flexibility, Organized, Accurate, Reliability, Judgement, Team player Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities. Attention to details is a must. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Handle working in a fast-paced environment. Have good hand-eye-co-ordination skills Responsibilities : Inspect and check all mechanical units ensuring there are no faults or malfunctions Diagnose faults or errors and confirm the results with the supervisor at hand to determine whether to fix or replace the unit Repair or fix any mechanical units or components Report and record all data regarding problems / faults and the work serviced to each mechanical unit Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment Inspect safety devices on trucks and trailers regularly as guards, lubricating engine machinery and checking battery levels Use safe working practices and follow all company safety requirements Generate and maintain vehicle and equipment maintenance records and work orders Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems and truck trailer systems Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs Benefits : Company will be paying $600 of safety bonus to all the drivers who keep their record clean throughout the year.
