We are currently seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team on a part-time / full-time basis, supporting clients in their own home.

With flexible scheduling options, we prioritize work-life balance while helping our clients maintain a high quality of life in the comfort of their homes.

Areas where we are looking for Registered Care Aide : Coquitlam

Salary Range : $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

As a Health Care Worker, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

Vital Signs Monitoring : Perform regular checks, specifically blood pressure monitoring, and report any abnormalities.

  • Medication Assistance : Assist with medication administration as directed.

Transition medications from pill bottles into dosettes or blister packs (in collaboration with family or caregivers).

  • Catheter Care : Provide comprehensive care, including changing leg and overnight bags, draining urine, ensuring proper peri-care, and cleaning catheter bags.
  • Transfers :
  • Use a transfer board with guidance from the client.

  • Operate floor / full mechanical lifts , including sling placement, proper attachment, and ensuring safe positioning.
  • Assist with the tilt commode , managing transfers and tilting during digital stimulation.
  • Bowel Care : Administer suppositories, perform digital stimulation, provide peri-care, and apply incontinence briefs.
  • Compression Stockings : Apply and remove compression stockings, ensuring they are wrinkle-free.
  • Abdominal Binder : Properly place and secure the abdominal binder tightly for optimal support.
  • Competencies and Qualifications :

  • Experience working with seniors and / or individuals with disabilities.
  • Willingness to work both short and long shifts.
  • Possession of a Care Aide certificate and BC registry number is request.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Willingness to commute to designated locations.
  • A clean criminal record check.
  • Possession of a driver's license (considered an asset).
