  • Someone who possesses a strong understanding of client and driver needs within a fleet management context, with a focus on operational efficiency and preventative maintenance compliance?
  • A person with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to build effective relationships with suppliers and network shops?

As the Network Optimization Manager , you’ll be responsible for enhancing the overall client and driver experience by optimizing the performance and utilization of Element Fleet Management’s maintenance network. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring drivers are directed to network shops, improving preventative maintenance (PM) compliance, and reducing downtime for vehicle maintenance. Additionally, the role focuses on reactivating inactive units by understanding the challenges faced by clients and drivers and developing solutions to ensure full program participation. It will work cross-functionally with teams such as : Commercial, FPS, and Strategic Alliance.

A Day in the Life

  • Enhance the driver experience by ensuring maintenance services are delivered through preferred network shops, minimizing downtime and improving overall service efficiency.
  • Analyze and optimize the existing maintenance network to direct drivers to the most efficient and strategically aligned shops, improving network utilization and service outcomes.
  • Drive the process of activating new units and reactivating inactive units by understanding client and driver concerns, addressing barriers, and implementing solutions that ensure full program participation and optimal service usage.
  • Lead initiatives to increase preventive maintenance (PM) compliance, ensuring clients' fleets operate efficiently and adhere to recommended service schedules.
  • Manage and execute supplier-related campaigns that focus on improving both driver experience and network performance.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, FPS, and Strategic Alliance teams to ensure revenue growth objectives are met through network optimization and campaign initiatives.
  • Proactively identify inactive units and work with clients to understand the reasons behind their inactivity.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in network optimization, operations, or a related field, with a focus on improving service delivery and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in optimizing network performance and addressing client and driver needs to improve service utilization.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Experience in managing unit activation, understanding client and driver perspectives, and developing strategies to drive program engagement.
  • Expertise in network optimization, service delivery, and preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead revenue-generating initiatives and optimize service processes to improve client and business outcomes.
  • The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 to $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
