Student, Treasury (Summer 2025)

About the Role

This position presents an opportunity to participate in a growth-oriented company and to gain exposure to a unique industry. This role is ideally suited to a motivated individual seeking a challenging opportunity. The successful candidate will work closely with the Treasury Operations group during the Summer term, supporting the day-to-day activities of Treasury operations in various local and international banking platforms and supporting process improvement initiatives to optimize cash position of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring and managing the company’s daily liquidity position to assist management in making appropriate decisions regarding cash forecast, cash receipts and disbursements.
• Assisting the Treasury with month-end and quarter-end closing activities and any related supporting documentation.
• Preparing wire transfers and intercompany cash transfers in the Treasury system and in various banking platforms.
• Preparing bank account documentation and assisting in the management of bank accounts for Brookfield Renewable and its related companies.
• Preparing monthly and ad-hoc financial, compliance or audit reports.
• Managing Treasury shared email box to support the team with meeting deadlines and completing inter-departmental activities.

Knowledge Required

Note : Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity. This position requires the employee to be on-site for a minimum of 4 days to perform most effectively.
