Warehouse Dry Assembler (Afternoon Shift)
Job Information
Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world.
We are currently looking for a team-player to support the warehouse department with picking dry orders for delivery.
Position Summary :
The Warehouse Dry Assembler will be responsible for picking dry products by using operating forklifts and pallet jacks. This will involve handling, moving, loading and unloading materials by hand and using a variety of handling equipment.
The successful candidate must be able to handle repetitive movements and lift up to 50lbs.
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Any 8 hours from 01 : 30PM to 10 : 00PM, Monday Saturday, must be available to work on Saturdays as needed
Responsibilities :
- Pack and wrap skids for shipping or storage.
- Receive and restock inventory items.
- Accurately pick and pack orders based on packing slips.
- Load freight onto trucks or containers.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
- Assist with various warehouse tasks as needed.
- Adhere to warehouse standard operating procedures.
Working Conditions :
The role involves frequent walking, standing, and repetitive lifting.
Requirements / Must-Haves :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to read and follow instructions accurately
- Good attention to detail
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
Assets / Nice-to-Haves :
- Forklift and reach truck certifications or related experience are beneficial
- Ability to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin), Korean or Japanese is a plus
