AIA Youth Initiatives Coach - Athletes in Action
Position Type: Part-Time Seasonal and/or Summer Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Salary range: $15-20 (the starting rate is set in line with the provincial minimum wage)

Athletes in Action (a division of Power To Change) is a ministry that seeks to help people know Jesus and experience his power to change the world through sport. Position Overview
AIA Youth Initiative coaches act as individual coaches or are part of coaching teams that travel to communities within their region, with a heart for developing total athletes (athletically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually). Each opportunity focuses on using sport to help churches and local partners reach their community. Coaches will engage with youth athletes who have a variety of skills and abilities, from beginner to experienced, providing programming in a variety of sports (soccer, basketball, volleyball and athletic development). Coaches will be expected to engage in the process of combating negative views of sport culture with the gospel, while inspiring partners to reach their local community through sport.
