About the Role : We are seeking a dynamic individual to manage key retail relationships across British Columbia and Whitehorse, YT. This role involves meeting monthly sales targets, fostering strong customer relationships, executing marketing initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of the required sales growth in the region.
Responsibilities :
- Implement sales strategies and tactics as outlined in the Sales Process
- Identify new business opportunities while nurturing and maintaining existing partnerships
- Generate new business through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Researching the local market to understand customer preferences and identify opportunities for growth
- Acting as the main point of contact for all inquiries and concerns
- Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and prioritize actions
- Follow up on leads and referrals generated from field activities
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals
- Offering samples, product demonstrations, and visual presentations to help clients make informed decisions
- Advising on flooring formats, design, style, and installation requirements based on customer preferences and needs
- Presenting product options, pricing, and promotions to potential clients
- Negotiating terms and pricing to secure sales, ensuring both customer satisfaction and company profitability
- Staying up to date with the latest trends, materials, and innovations in the flooring industry
- Possessing comprehensive knowledge of hard surface products and their installation processes
- Educating customers on product features, benefits, warranties, and care instructions
- Meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets
- Setting goals and working towards consistent sales growth and revenue generation for the company
- Tracking sales progress and adjusting strategies as needed to reach objectives
- Handling customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain strong relationships
- Addressing any installation-related issues or customer concerns and providing solutions
- Keeping an eye on competitors' products, pricing, and promotional offers to stay competitive in the marketplace
- Log daily activities in the Karndean Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
- Reporting regularly to management on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback
- Promoting company products and special offers through various channels, including social media, in-store events, and community outreach
- Oversee the monthly marketing budget and promptly respond to requests from the Karndean management team
Qualifications :
