Job description

The Village of Coleman Care located in Barrie, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a TEMP-Part-Time Food Service Worker / Aides (FSA) to join their Long Term Care Team. Casual Shifts : 6 am - 2 pm.

As a new Food Services team member (FSA), you will :

  • Completed, enrolled in the Food Services Worker training program ;
  • Holds a valid Food Handlers certification
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members;
  • Be able to lift up to 35lbs;
  • Have exceptional time management sills and ability to work in collaboration with a team;
  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques
  • Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents;
  • Food Service Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.
