Your future role

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Alstom Direct Sourcing team in the North American Region. Based in Montreal, the role will be responsible to lead sourcing activities on a variety of subjects for REM Montreal’s Brossard and Saint Eustache sites. You will procure direct commodities related to ALSTOM operations in REM Montreal project while meeting or exceeding quality, cost and delivery objectives. You will work with teams across the business (Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, etc.), manage supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include executing sourcing strategies, managing vendor performance, ensuring procurement process compliance, initiating cost-saving measures, and improving service levels.

Responsibilities

• Executing RFQs, placing Purchase Orders, and managing vendor relationships
• Defining and implementing cost-saving and improvement plans
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to define scopes of work, KPIs, and SLAs
• Ensuring supplier compliance with contracts and Alstom standards
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance P2P efficiency and compliance
• Supporting internal and external audits to demonstrate process adherence
• Leading project negotiation
• Monitoring Procurement project QCDT & legal project evolution (FAI, Business Award, Product development)
• Preparation of Business Award
• Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
• Coordinating projects with all métiers
• Securing on-time delivery and quality

This position will report to the Project Procurement Manager and will work closely with India Procurement Hub and Commodity Management teams.
