Graphic Designer

Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Graphic Designer is responsible for working on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic design that meet business goals. The Graphic Designer will work independently as well as cooperatively with the marketing team to meet production deadlines and within budget, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities

• Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams to develop a wide range of materials, including posters, banners, POP, signage, social media and email marketing content, internal communications, and newsletters.
• Develop concepts and execute original content by determining the optimal use of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
• Translate strategic direction into high-quality designs within an established brand identity, demonstrating a thorough understanding of branding and marketing and selecting the appropriate style and layout for each project.
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, following best practices for content management systems.
• Able to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in professional graphic design.
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud tools (CC), especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, AE.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of website, social media, and email marketing delivery.
• Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Great attitude and strong work ethic.
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Good reading and verbal communication skills in English.
