Job Summary

Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the AI Institute. This includes enhancing the visibility of the Institute’s initiatives, improving its online presence, and providing logistical support to the team. Key Responsibilities

  • Improve and maintain the AI Institute website , ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging. This includes managing blog posts, mailing lists, and potentially other external communications, including video in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science Communications and Marketing team.
  • Schedule and organize Institute meetings, including internal research meetings, external advisory board discussions, and outreach events.
  • Develop and implement new administrative processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Institute’s operations.
  • Coordinate between different partners, managing key documents, and ensuring projects move forward smoothly.

Required Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education with one year of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Technical proficiency to update and maintain the Institute’s website and manage digital communications (experience with website management, mailing lists, or video content creation is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Interest in or familiarity with AI, HTML / web technology, or research environments is an asset.
  • Outgoing, professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
