I’m excited to announce that Venor has partnered with Verge Technologies in their search for an experienced Sales Manager to work with their proven team of Account Executives and Technical Solutions Designers.
This role is an additional hire due to the company’s growth and it’s in line with their strategic future development plans.
The Sales Manager role is not limited to people management, you get the opportunity to lead by example and develop new business, manage some healthy house accounts, and improve the current sales process to ensure success.
This is a permanent, full-time role based out of their Dartmouth office.

The Duties & Responsibilities are :
- Be the driving force of motivation for your team, leading by example every step of the way
- Tailored, individual coaching for both of the teams you manager
- Develop and improve upon the current sales cycle, strategy, and process
- Empower your team by delegating responsibilities when and where needed
- Work closely with technology vendors, solution designers and executives in establishing go-to-market strategy across Communication Cabling, Pro Audio-Visual and Commercial Security & Life-Safety offerings
- Collaborate with the executive team in developing marketing strategies and campaigns
- Have the flexibility to assist both Operations and Administration teams as organizational procedures, systems, and workflows are developed and implemented
The right candidate should have :
- 10+ years in B2B technology sales and sales management
- Experience in Structured Cabling, Pro Audio-Visual and Commercial Security & Life-Safety is preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of Information Systems, Professional Services and Enterprise IT environments
- Proficiency with technology, especially D-Tools and Office 365
- Ability to travel regularly throughout Maritime provinces as needed
