The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of IT Supervisor - Application Support .
This job is full-time permanent.
Your challenges
- Manage application priorities for different systems in collaboration with business users
- Manage budgets and vendors used for applications
- Analyze and prioritize needs with different business departments
- Prioritize the work of team members and support them in their work
- Actively participate in various projects involving your team as a coordinator
- Develop and implement new NEW or other solution
- Support the team that will provide level 1 and 2 support for applications
- Follow-up on internal audit controls regarding the processes surrounding code and data management
- Implement and monitor systems-level quality assurance management processes
- Conduct team member assessments and ensure the personal development of each team member
- Update the system documentation
Your profile :
- Baccalaureate degree in computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in support and development team leadership
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant technical experience with . NET, SSRS and SQL Server
- Recent experience in managing a support team
Your skills :
- Excellent technical knowledge of NET, SSRS and SQL SERVER technology to support team members
- Excellent resource management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to deliver quality results on time, see in advance
- Motivation, judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and French and ability to clearly explain complex ideas, due to regular interactions with internal and external clients located outside Quebec
- Analytical ability to solve problems
- Ability to manage tasks and priorities in a fast-paced team environment
- Knowledge of HQ is an asset
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL is an asset
