Job description

Are you an experienced Change Management professional with a passion for driving healthcare transformation We are seeking a Change Management Specialist to play a pivotal role in a Digital Health initiative focused on improving healthcare delivery through advanced information and communication technology across Manitoba.

This is an initial 8 month contract.

Key Details :

  • Location : Onsite in Manitoba with travel required to health regions (Winnipeg Prairie Mountain Health Interlake Eastern Health Northern Health Southern Health).
  • Employment Type : Fulltime position.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead organizational change management (OCM) activities including stakeholder analysis communication planning and readiness assessments particularly for IT solutions in healthcare.
  • Develop and execute training plans and curriculum tailored to healthcare information systems for clinical users.
  • Collaborate on projects to enhance information security services implement clinical dictation solutions and standardize clinical practices in healthcare environments.
  • Manage projects or lead initiatives by identifying deliverables resources and project plans.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of healthcare technologies including the Allscripts suite and surgical information systems.
  • Qualifications (Mandatory) :

  • Certification Requirements :
  • Prosci Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification.

  • PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner certification.
  • Experience Requirements :
  • 10 years in OCM with examples from healthcare environments.

  • 5 years in project management or leadership roles.
  • 3 years in healthcare IT training security and application implementations.
  • Specific experience in clinical dictation and surgical information systems is an asset.
  • Transportation : Must have access to reliable transportation to travel within Manitoba.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical environments.
  • Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive adoption of new technologies.
  • Effective communication and project leadership capabilities.
