Position Overview
We are seeking a Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) to join our Client Care team. In this role you will support both the client care and clinical teams with hearing assessments, communication techniques, remote testing, product training and adoption, maintenance and troubleshooting, and community partnership development.
Full‑time contract position supporting multiple sites across Windsor, Ontario including Essex, Jackson Park, Tecumseh and Lakeshore. Typical hours are Monday through Friday 8 : 30 am–4 : 30 pm local time, split between locations. Mileage will be expensed to your non‑primary clinic.

What You Will Do
Act as a point of contact for customers to answer product‑related questions, provide product training, maintenance and care, and troubleshootEducate customers on product features and benefits to increase product adoptionDiscuss communicative strategies with customersLoad existing settings from NOAH following repair, perform electro‑acoustic analysis and verification on hearing aids (with interpretation by supervising audiologist)Manage documentation related to customer purchases and insurance claims, including entering prescriptions, assisting with third‑party claims and providing follow‑upRecognize and capitalize on sales opportunities through walk‑ins, referrals, phone inquiries and retention practicesConduct effective telephone follow‑up for new fittings (48‑hour follow‑up calls)Identify and participate in community events and organizations to promote HearCANADA (community‑based marketing)Act as a liaison with physicians’ offices and other referral sources to maximize opportunitiesWhat We’re Looking For
Completion of a CDA program from an accredited institutionExperience working in a hearing clinic or CDA capacity would be an asset; we are willing to train someone with program completion and limited experienceClear communication skills and comfort interacting with diverse customer groupsAbility to work under pressure in a busy clinic settingWillingness to travel locally – access to a car and a valid driver’s license required due to multi‑clinic nature of the roleApplication
