Primary Care Paramedic

Overall Purpose of Job:

To provide effective emergency response.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining standards of practice consistent with the provincial regulatory body.
2. Complying with International SOS procedures and processes.
3. Participating in medical retrieval services and annual skills assessments.
4. Ensuring equipment, vehicles, and supplies are ready and in good condition.
5. Maintaining patient records accurately and timely.
6. Participating in internal training, quality improvement, and meetings.
7. Performing other duties as assigned by management.

About You:

Must-have minimum requirements:

• Experience as a Primary Care Paramedic.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Current registration with provincial regulatory body.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Alignment with company values of expertise, passion, respect, and care.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in an industrial setting.
• Knowledge of medical and operational guidelines, protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to collaborate and hold others accountable.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Camp-based work with accommodations and meals provided.
• Schedule varies from 2 to 3 weeks on/off, with possible on-call hours.
