If so, this Accountant position in Anjou, East Montreal, is for you.

A well-known and growing company in the manufacturing sector is currently looking for an Accountant to join its team.

Reporting to the Controller, you’ll join a small, collaborative team and take part in daily accounting operations: invoicing, reconciliations, AP/AR, month-end support, analysis, and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the full accounting cycle, including month-end closings
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
• Contribute to year-end audit preparations
• Perform analysis related to general ledger, standard costs, and inventory
• Support budget preparation and variance tracking
• Take part in physical inventory counts
• Prepare or assist with tax filings (GST, QST, HST) and ensure compliance
• Provide support to accounts payable and accounts receivable processes (AP/AR)

Profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Good knowledge of the manufacturing environment
• Experience with production costs, inventory, and variances
• Comfortable with ERP systems (Advantage is an asset)
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and curious
• Bilingual in French and English
