Job description

Title : Senior Mainframe Engineer -

Location : Canada (Remote)

Note : 

Give priority to someone with Java coding experience.
This role doesn’t have on call rotation

We look for a person with : Good experience in secure backend services & API design & development, data Modeling, event-driven programming. Good to have TDD, and BDD skills. Need to work cross-team with DevOps & QA. Should have a good understanding and practice Agile Framework. Willingness to read code and understanding.

Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar; Master's degree in Computer Science

6+ years of development work experience

Financial Services background in wealth management not mandatory, good to have

Tech Skills :

Primary skill : - COBOL

Must have Skills : COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2

Nice to have Skills : Python, Linux, Java
