Your roles and responsibilities as a Petroleum Engineer :
Lead Process Engineering design activities on projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.
Direct and oversee the evaluation of wells, well testing and well surveys
Design plunger lifts and free-flowing well surface production equipment and systems, and specify programs for corrosion control
Analyze reservoir rock and fluid data to design the best recovery methods and to predict reservoir performance and reserves
Monitor and forecast gas reservoir performance and recommend natural gas and condensate recovery techniques which extend the economic life of wells
Change management (MOC) for facilities and plant process
Collaborate with operations for optimization of producing wells
Responsible for QAQC process improvement
Lead development of all process design calculations and develop hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, process simulations, Heat and Material Balances (H&MB), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
Evaluate potential site acquisitions
Your qualifications :
Bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or related degree from an accredited Canadian university
3+ years experience
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Proven critical thinking skills
Work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem solving environment
Professional Engineer License (P.ENG)
Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures
Expert knowledge in design codes
Strong computer skills
Experience in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace programs such as Word / Docs, Excel / Sheets, etc.
Experience in remote meeting software, such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, etc.
Positive work ethic and strong interpersonal skills
