Developer – UI/UX
Job Description
We are working with a Crown Corporation seeking a UX / UI Designer to join their team on a 1 year contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establish a design system in Figma based on internal design component library
- Create current state design assets for implementation teams based on the underlying product that they maintain
- Develop and iterate on wireframes, mockups and prototypes for new business and user requirements
- Proactively identify design problems and collaborate with implementation teams to improve existing product design
- Create a design process to how to maintain version control for design assets and train implementation teams on the process
- Train and coach implementation teams on using Figma as a design tool for collaboration when collaborating on business and user requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- 5-years minimum UI / UX design for Web or Mobile apps
- 4-years minimum using Figma as design tool
- 2 minimum UI / UX design projects in Canadian banking or financial services industry
- 2 minimum UI / UX design projects for employee based products
- Experience in leading development / implementation teams on UI / UX design principles
- Personal design portfolio with examples of UI / UX design projects for digital products
