Job descriptionQuote deficiency repairs from PM inspections Source out materials for deficiency quotes Quote follow-up repairs from service calls Source out material for follow-up repairs from service calls Keep the inspection reminder spreadsheet updated Send out reminders to customers on upcoming inspections Quote Inspections as required Assist with technical support for service breakdowns with technicians Assist with spare part orders when requested Keep spreadsheet updated of shop teardowns and breakdowns Quote shop breakdowns / evaluations Prepare and present detailed reports on estimates and budgets for management review Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimators and other team members 4+ years of estimating / quoting repair experience in an industrial setting Previous leadership or management experience is a nice to have Familiarity with standard office platforms, . Microsoft Office, PDF Editor, working knowledge of Microsoft NAVISION and Inspect - All would be an asset Experience or exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Navision is a nice to have Mechanical knowledge Excellent MS Office skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written Accurate, organized and able to multi-task Strong time management and multi-tasking skills Ability to work well independently and in collaboration with others
THE ROLE
As an Senior Project Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring that all estimates align with the project specifications, budgets, and timelines. This is a great permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading and coordinating multiple projects for various jobs. You will be working in a team environment on the day shift. This is a growing company that is very busy right now. This position is currently located in Burlington for a medium size service shop who will be moving their shop operations to Hamilton early next year.
