Director of Construction
Are you an experienced leader in the solar industry with a passion for overseeing high-quality construction projects? Our client is seeking a dynamic Director of Construction to lead their construction services team.
This pivotal role involves managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring top-notch installations, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities : Oversee the lifecycle of solar racking systems, including carport, single-axis tracker, and EV charging projects.
Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with customer requirements.Collaborate with engineers to develop and improve racking designs and costs.
Coordinate vendor activities to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets.Provide technical support for continuous improvement of products and processes.
Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years’ experience in project management, preferably in the solar industry.
Experience managing construction projects from design through completion, working with subcontractors.Strong skills in cost control, budget management, and influencing key stakeholders.
Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and best practices related to site construction.
