We are currently searching for an ambitious Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Global manufacturing team in the London, ON area. Our ideal candidate is passionate about Talent Acquisition and will play a crucial role leading TA Strategy including attraction, selection, and retention. As a strong team player who enjoys contributing to annual Human Resources planning and succession planning initiatives, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead the recruitment process for all recruitment projects across multiple departments
- Work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, determine selection criteria and source potential candidates through different channels
- Forecast hiring needs by department, plan interviews and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews
- Ensure policies and practices related to talent acquisition and recruitment are up-to-date, compliant, and aligned with industry best practices
- Lead and manage various programs, such as onboarding, referral programs, and cooperation with universities or technical schools (internship programs)
- Provide reporting, analytics, and insights on internal and external talent trends
- Ensure governance and compliance with all processes within each department
- Ensure a positive candidate experience providing timely communication, feedback
- Promote and enhance employer branding initiatives specific to attract top talent and position the organization as an employer of choice
- Participate in relevant industry events, and leverage external partnerships
- Deliver quarterly training for managers to build capabilities in recruitment / selection processes
- Improve recruitment efficiency, such as reducing time to recruit (time to fill), managing recruitment costs, and enhancing the retention of new hires
- Participate in Talent & Development projects, initiatives, and activities
- Take part in career events, fairs, or professional events
- Maintain a safe workplace, comply with OHSA (Occupational Health & Safety Act)
- Follow safe work and lockout / tagout procedures as required, report unsafe conditions as soon as possible
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration or related fieldCHRP or CHRL designation preferred3+ years as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in a manufacturing environmentHigh professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in handling sensitive informationStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsStrategic mindset and ability to align hiring strategies with organizational goals and prioritiesAnalytical and data-driven approach, with the ability to inform recruitment decisions and drive continuous improvementExperience in an HR Generalist / HRBP role, knowledge of Canadian labor laws & regulationsExceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail / accuracy in managing recruitment documentation and records
