Talent Acquisition Specialist (3–6 Month Contract)

Location : 100% Onsite – Midland, ON area
Term : Temporary Contract (3–6 Months)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing Human Resources team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and has hands‑on experience managing full‑cycle recruitment, preferably within manufacturing or technical operations.
This position supports end‑to‑end recruitment initiatives across a diverse set of roles while ensuring a positive candidate experience. You’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers, contribute to recruitment process improvements, and support onboarding activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle recruitment , from sourcing and screening to interviews and offer coordination.
Partner with hiring managers to clarify job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Conduct resume reviews, pre‑screens, and behavioural interviews to assess candidate fit.
Schedule interviews, consolidate feedback, and support hiring managers through selection decisions.
Maintain accurate and organized data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Support new hire documentation and onboarding to ensure a seamless transitions for new employees.
Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing processes, templates, and work instructions.
Provide general HR support as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–3 years of full‑cycle recruitment or talent acquisition experience , ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective partnerships with candidates and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail in a fast‑paced setting.
Proficiency with ATS tools and the Microsoft Office Suite.
CHRP designation or working toward certification is an asset.
