We are recruiting a Quality Engineer to work at our Windsor, ON plant (6500 Cantelon Dr.).

Job Overview

This position will provide statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples, as well as, coming up with solutions to improve the products and quality process within the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
• Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
• Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
• Ensures the company is fully prepared for all IATF 16949 audits.
• Liaises with the customer on quality issues and ensures all required team members are aware of any quality concerns.
• Ensures training occurs on all processes and manages the training required for all team members / Departments.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Adheres to 5S philosophy.
• Performs other assigned duties.
