Position Summary :
We are hiring a Construction Survey Technician to support our field operations across multiple active projects. This position requires accurate surveying services for heavy civil construction, underground utilities, and commercial building work.
Primary Duties :
- Provide layout and grade control services for earthwork operations, concrete placements, and utility installations.
- Establish line and grade for excavation teams, pipe installations, and structural work.
- Coordinate with site superintendents and project coordinators on survey requirements and field conditions.
- Maintain accurate survey documentation, progress records, and as-built drawings per project specifications.
- Operate and maintain survey instruments including total stations, GPS equipment, robotic units, and laser leveling systems.
- Adapt to various project environments across our construction divisions.
Qualifications Required :
3-5 years of construction surveying experience, preferably in heavy civil, municipal infrastructure, or underground utility work.Working knowledge of surveying principles, construction procedures, and jobsite safety protocols.Competency with modern survey equipment and software applications (AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience preferred).Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and design documents.Effective communication skills for coordination with field crews and management personnel.Practical problem-solving skills for addressing field discrepancies and construction challenges.Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.Employment Benefits :
