Job description

We measure the impact of advertising at Amazon scale and operate one of the largest big data analytics systems at Amazon. If big data, distributed systems or just creating a large impact motivates you, join us.

What we do

We are a team of builders who build highly-scalable applications that measure performance of ads for all of Amazon’s advertisers. We create algorithms that use verifiable techniques to produce accurate, actionable and timely measurements for advertisers to understand their campaign performance. We design systems that use AWS (EMR with Spark, Kinesis, ECS) to process over 50 billion events per day and we are constantly inventing new ways to delight our customers and stay ahead of our growing scale. It is always Day 1 for us!

What you will do

You will work with technical leaders to design and create our next generation processing platform. You will work with product managers and stakeholders to invent new patterns to release some of our advertisers’ most-requested features and launch them directly to advertisers. You will own and operate business-critical systems, work with petabytes of data to answer advertiser and product questions and collaborate with a group of exceptional SDEs, scientists, program managers and product managers.
