A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Proposals - Technical Sales Support Manager, you will lead the entire proposal development process from the initial request for proposals to contract award for the distribution transformers factory. In collaboration with engineering, production, purchasing, and other teams, you will produce accurate, comprehensive proposals and develop effective winning strategies.
Your mission : To produce efficient and effective proposals, improve the process, ensure accuracy and precision, and deliver high-quality results on time.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the offer (proposals) management activities within the factory, as well as plans and controls budgets, resources training, and development plans, and direct the operational activities of offer preparation to maximize profitability and resource utilization, while also identifying risks from an early stage
- Lead the development of policies and processes for preparing offers in accordance with global and local guidelines and is responsible for their corresponding execution, Interact with other departments in the factories to clearly define the Inputs and Outputs of the Offers process, and Lead the development of policies and processes for Handover to deliver orders to the execution team in accordance with global and local guidelines, and is responsible for their corresponding execution
- Plan the order intake budget and sales quantity planning for the upcoming commercial years based on the company's strategy
- Support market studies to define target markets and products, and support external marketing activities within the factory
- Approve offers before they are submitted to the sales organization, support the sales organization with factory data entry in the CRM tool, and prepares key reports on opportunities, proposals, sales, and revenue.
What You Bring
Demonstrated strength in organizational skills, business acumen, and goal-oriented execution.Proven ability to collaborate in team environments and lead change initiatives effectively.Skilled in navigating ambiguity with sound judgment, customer focus, and strong decision-making and negotiation capabilities.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Solid project management experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce knowledge is a plus); PMP certification is an asset.Holds a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years in a similar role; fluency in French and English is required for international collaboration and documentation.
