Telecommunications Structural Engineer – CIMA+
Job Overview
Join CIMA+ in Quebec and build innovative telecommunications structures. This role focuses on design, analysis, and project coordination across BC, Ontario, and Quebec.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in kick‑off and technical coordination meetings
- Design and validate towers, reinforcements, and special structures
- Design and verify foundations and anchoring systems
- Prepare structural analysis reports and technical documentation
- Coordinate engineering drawings with draftsmen and ensure quality of deliverables
- Implement and improve innovative methods and tools to optimize processes
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects within CIMA+
- Attend coordination meetings with clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil EngineeringMinimum 3+ years of structural engineering experienceMember of EGBC (P.Eng. from other Canadian order is an asset)Strong interest in structural calculations and technologyFluency in English (oral and written); French is an assetExcellent time‑management and priority‑setting skillsTeam player with attention to detail and organizational skillsInterest in developing automated calculation toolsAsset : experience in telecommunications structural engineeringAsset : knowledge of SAFI Telecom and TSTowerAsset : interest in at‑height telecommunication structure survey and inspectionBenefits
