POSITION SUMMARY

The Housekeeping Delivery Attendant role is an integral position within Deerhurst Resort. This role focuses on ensuring deliveries for guest requests are handled in a timely manner, and requests for cleaning supplies and linens are delivered to our Housekeeping team members so they can do their jobs efficiently. Our Housekeeping Delivery Attendants are valued for their time management skills, ability to multitask and flexibility as their daily duties fluctuate based on our business demands.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Delivers items to guestrooms upon request in a timely manner

● Assists laundry and inventory attendants with packing linen and amenity orders and

delivers these to our room attendants

● Responsible for removing items left in hallways as they move around the resort

delivering items

● Picks up linen bags and sorts linen in downtime to ensure our product is shipped out for

cleaning nightly

● Able to communicate professionally with our resort team members via radio, cell phone

or face to face

● Recognizes and greets all guests and team members with a smile

● Ensures the well-being of our guests and team members by being alert to and reporting

potential hazards

● Models all Deerhurst Resort Standards while caring for guests, co-workers and owners

● Completes all other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Valid G class Ontario driving license required and clean driving record

● Guest oriented with a sincere, helpful, caring and friendly personality

● Physically fit and able to bend, push, pull and lift continuously throughout the day

● Able to take initiative within given guidelines

● Pays precise attention to detail, order and cleanliness

● Time + priority management, and works well under pressure

● Maintains flexibility and professionalism at all times

PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF POSITION (include but are not limited to):

● Able to move up and down stairs frequently

● Able to occasionally work outdoors in seasonal temperatures

● Able to lift, bend, carry + move constantly 11 to 40 pounds, frequently 50 to 75 pounds

● No pre-existing medical or physical conditions that will prevent the applicant from completing the above duties

Furnished host accommodation available minutes from the resort

Visa Requirements: Must be eligible to work in Canada.
