Job description

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced  Industrial Mechanic  to join our  evening shift  team. This is a permanent, full-time position with an evening schedule.

What you’re responsible for :

  • Perform  preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignments, and servicing  of various equipment, including :

Conveyor

  • Grinder
  • Shredder
  • Vibrating table
  • Hydraulic system
  • Press
  • Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures.
  • Inspect for wear, repair, or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
  • Test repaired equipment to verify performance and ensure compliance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
  • Carry out installation and upgrades of new machines or equipment.
  • Complete work orders and follow up as necessary.
  • Ensure proper use and operation of company equipment.
  • Inform the immediate supervisor of any required actions, detected issues, or time overruns.
  • Maintain a  clean and safe  work environment.
  • Work safely and in compliance with  health & safety (SST) policies  and company procedures.
  • Perform any other related tasks

    • Qualifications

    To join our team :

  • Strong experience  in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses.
  • Ability to  diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures , and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Skilled in  testing repaired equipment  to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards.
  • Ability to  collaborate on problem-solving  to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
  • Knowledge of  safety protocols , including workplace cleanliness, compliance with health & safety (SST) regulations, and safe work practices.

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Evening shift premium
  • Overtime after 40 hours
