Job description1 to less than 7 months Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. At heights Relocation costs not covered by employer Willing to relocate Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures Troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic systems Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble Perform and document routine maintenance Small piston airplane Small turboprops Aircraft maintenance - general Driver's validity licence check Airport security clearance Valid driver's licence Own vehicle Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Tools Accurate Flexibility Initiative Judgement Reliability Team player Disability benefits As per collective agreement Bonus Group insurance benefits Life insurance Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Free parking available Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Team building opportunities Travel insurance Variable or compressed work week A permanent resident of Canada A temporary resident of Canada with a valid work permit
